Description of the Cat S52
The company Cat is known for developing phones that are reliable and durable, and won't break quickly. These are called rugged smartphones. This Cat S52 is no exception, but while most rugged smartphones are quite thick, the S52 from Cat has a slim design.
Not only does this make the Cat S52 look more beautiful and elegant than its competition in this smartphone category, it also comes with a good camera for a rugged phone. It features 64GB of internal storage, so you'll have enough space, and a fingerprint scanner has been fitted on the back.
Slim but robust design
This Cat smartphone has a slim design, making it look slightly less robust than other rugged smartphones. But nothing could be further from the truth. This device is completely waterproof, has been tested for 1.5 meter falls onto concrete, and can withstand large differences in temperature.
The phone comes with a non-slip back, so your phone won't just fall from your hands. The casing is made of aluminium, which results in a light smartphone of 210 grams. The Cat S52 is water, salt mist, and shock resistant.
Use with wet fingers
The display of the S52 is 6.65 inch and made of Corning Gorilla Glass, a material that won't scratch or break. The touchscreen will still work if you use it with wet fingers or while wearing gloves, which is practical if you work in construction, for example.
Good camera for a rugged smartphone
The Cat S52 has a good camera for a rugged smartphone. It shoots 12-megapixel photos and features an f/1.8 aperture, so you can even take photos in the dark.
Fingerprint scanner
On the back of this Cat, a fingerprint scanner has been fitted that will quickly and easily unlock your smartphone. It's also very secure! Of course, you can still use a pattern or code to access your smartphone.
Two SIM cards and an SD card
The Cat S52 has room for two SIM cards, so you can use your business SIM card too if you want to keep your work and private life separate. You can also expand the 64GB of storage space with a memory card.
Android 9.0 Pie
