Huawei P40 Lite E

Huawei has added the P40 Lite E to the P40 family in March 2020. This is the lowest priced, and at the same time the most affordable, smartphone of the series. If you do not want to spend too much money on a phone, this is a nice entry-level model.

The P40 Lite E has three cameras and a fingerprint scanner on the back. All content and media can be viewed on the 6.39-inch display. This Huawei phone has dual SIM and 64GB expandable storage space. The device has been released in the colours Midnight Black and Aurora Blue.

Without Google services

The Huawei P40 Lite E does not have support for Google services. Instead of Google Play Services, Huawei offers its own Huawei Mobile Services. Not all apps are compatible with this and therefore not all apps work (optimally). Keep this in mind when purchasing.

Three cameras on the back

On the back of the P40 Lite E Huawei has placed three cameras, each with their own function. For normal, sharp photos and videos, use the 48-megapixel main camera. With the 8-megapixel camera capture more in one image thanks to the ultra-wide angle lens. Useful for large landscapes, for example.

Finally, there is a 2-megapixel camera for portraits. Thanks to the depth of field sensor, you can create a bokeh effect, or a depth of field effect. Your subject remains sharp, while the background fades. The 8-megapixel front camera can be used for selfies and video calls.

Large 6.39 icnhdisplay

The screen of the Huawei P40 Lite E is 6.39-inch in size. Due to the narrow screen edges, the size of the phone is relatively compact. Because of this, the front also consists almost entirely of screen. This is ideal for videos, series or games.

64GB expandable storage space

The Huawei P40 Lite E has a storage capacity of 64GB. The operating system takes up a small portion of this. The rest you use for storing photos, videos and apps. For more storage space, you can use a memory card. Then the dual SIM function is no longer available.

Space for two SIM cards thanks to dual SIM

You can place two SIM cards in the P40 Lite E, because this phone is a dual SIM phone. For example, you could keep your private life and work life separate on one phone. When using a second SIM card, you can't insert a microSD card for more storage space.
